Directions to camp
Texoma Youth Camp is located several miles north-west of Denison, Texas. Lake Texoma is on the border of Texas and Oklahoma (so if you see a sign that says, “Austin - 43 miles” - you’re going the wrong way).
From Dallas
- Go north on US 75 through Plano, Allen, McKinney, Sherman and Denison
- Take exit 70 (immediately after crossing a bridge)
- Turn left on 84/Texoma Drive - 2.2 miles to next turn
- Turn left on 406 - 4 miles to stop light
- Turn right on Preston Bend Rd. - 5.2 miles to Texoma Youth Camp entrance on right
From Ft. Worth
- I-35W to Gainesville.
- 82 east from Gainesville to Sherman.
- 1417 north to Pottsboro.
- Turn left onto 120 (where 1417 dead ends)
and follow it through town and then to the north - it becomes Preston Bend.
